Spotted Wintergreen (Chimaphila maculata) is an evergreen native woodland wildflower admired for its striking white-veined leaves and delicate, nodding white flowers. It remains attractive throughout the year, making it one of the few evergreen wildflowers of eastern North American forests. Although slow to establish, it forms small colonies over time through underground rhizomes.
